Project

Sponsor a child at Ditshego Pre-school, Mooiplaas.

Stakeholders

This project is the sole initiative of Changing Lives™ and was brought about by the need identified in Mooiplaas Informal Settlement. Ditshego Pre Primary school was established to keep orphaned and vulnerable children in a safe a caring environment.

Vision

The vision of the Project is to provide vulnerable children with an environment of love, security, education, stability and balanced meals.

Project Description

Mooiplaas is an informal Settlement in Centurion, Pretoria. Sixty children attend the Ditshego Pre-school which was established and funded by volunteers and local churches. Some parents are able to pay the subsidized monthly fee of R150. There is however a need to expand the school to include orphans, children from child headed households and children whose parents are unfit to work. A sponsor for one of these children can make the difference between an education in a safe, stimulation environment with balanced meals and life in a shack.

Assistance Required

While all donations are welcome, the sponsorship could be made as a once off payment of R1800.00 per child for the year or as twelve monthly installments of R150.
